New Mexico Pistachios

OCTOBER

New Mexico. New Product. New Crop Pistachios

In our recent travels through the Southwest, we have discovered New Mexico grown pistachios. Much like pecans, commercially available pistachios are stored for very long periods of time and become very dried out, losing much of their flavor. We were stunned by how delicious these are, as well as their vibrant green avocado-esque color! We’ll be offering our pistachios in a 1 pound bag (roasted, salted, and addicting!)

Pink is Peak

While we call them nuts, pistachios are actually the seeds of a fruit that grow in bundles like grapes. Before pistachios are harvested and processed, they become a vibrant, hot pink. Such pink can still be seen in the ‘meat’, especially in new-crop pistachios. Our pistachios don’t sit in a warehouse for long periods of time. They are harvested and sent directly to us to get in your hands.
