California Meyer Lemons

Meyer lemons are a lemon-mandarin hybrid that are sweeter than a traditional lemon. Ours are certified organic and grown at one of the best small-batch farms in Southern California.

Southern California

Southern California’s Mediterranean climate provides the ideal growing conditions for cold-sensitive lemon trees. The Pacific Coastal region’s long hot summers, cool misty winters and extended mild springs give our trees a growing advantage that produces a unique sweet, tart and extra juicy flavor.

Árvore De Luz

Our partner Árvore De Luz raises over 3,000 trees organically and sustainably without the use of chemicals, pesticides or herbicides. Just sunshine, water and organic fertilizers.

They operate as a small family farm and see their land as an ecosystem within a larger community, so they hand pick each lemon only when is has been allowed to ripen on the tree.

Harvest Season

Meyer lemons are a winter fruit which means they bloom in early spring filling the air with the sweet scent of orange blossoms! They begin to set tiny, lime green fruit by mid-summer. By winter the lemons begin turning their lovely pale-yellow color and they ripen fully – ready for harvest!

Perfect timing
means perfect fruit.

All our fruit is “tree ripened” allowing it to stay on the tree longer giving it richer, sweeter flavor. Most grocery store fruit is picked too early and stored for weeks or even months. Our fruit is picked and delivered directly to you within days of harvest – you’ll taste the difference.

Taste the difference

Meyer lemons are a very delicate fruit. Most often, grocery store Meyer lemons are small and weeks old. And growing organic citrus is difficult and resource intensive.

The incredible taste of our lemons makes it all worthwhile. Being able to provide an incredible fruit along with growing them in a chemical free environment has been a winning combination.
