1/3 cup chopped Georgia pecans

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 pinch nutmeg

1 pinch salt

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

ยผ cup Wisconsin raw honey

  2. In a large bowl combine oats, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and 2 tablespoons butter. Set aside.ย
  3. Cut pears in half and shave off a thin slice on the uncut side so pears will sit flat. Use a melon baller or scoop to remove the seeds.

  5. Top pear halves with pecan mixture and drizzle with honey
  6. Bake in oven for 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes with melted honey from the pan.ย
  7. Remove skillet from oven and serve pears. Pour extra honey sauce in pan over the pears. Serve while warm.
